Acceptance of Terms
By using Hinglish Vinglish, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Description of Service
Hinglish Vinglish is a language learning app that helps users learn Hindi through interactive lessons, pronunciation practice, an AI conversation coach, and themed scenarios. New users start with a free 7-day trial of every chapter. The trial ends on its own and never converts into a charge. After that, a single one-time Lifetime Access purchase unlocks everything. See the Purchases section below. Users who joined under an earlier pricing model keep their original access, described in the Legacy Access Provision.
User Accounts
- You may use the app as a guest or create an account using Google or Apple Sign-In
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
Purchases
Free Trial. New users receive a free 7-day trial with access to every chapter. No payment details are required to start it, it does not auto-renew, and it never converts into a charge. When the trial ends, access to paid content stops until you choose to purchase.
Hinglish Vinglish offers one purchase option to unlock content:
- Lifetime Access: a one-time payment, currently $17.99 (or local equivalent). It unlocks every chapter, now and in the future, the Ellie pronunciation coach, and 1,000 pronunciation credits. The price shown in the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase is the price that applies.
Pronunciation Credits. New users receive free starter credits on first launch. Optional credit packs can be purchased separately by users who want extra pronunciation practice. Credits are consumed by in-chapter pronunciation analysis and AI conversation features.
No Subscriptions. We do not offer auto-renewing subscriptions. There are no monthly charges and no recurring fees. Once you purchase Lifetime Access, your access does not expire.
Chapters are no longer sold individually. For a period we offered per-chapter purchases. If you bought one or more chapters under that model, those chapters remain yours permanently. See the Legacy Access Provision below.
Billing. Purchases are processed by Apple on iOS and by Google Play on Android, charged to the account you are signed in to on that store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Legacy Access Provision
Important: if you obtained access under an earlier pricing model, this section preserves your existing rights.
Lifetime Access Holders. Users who purchased Lifetime Access at any time retain perpetual access to all premium features included with their purchase, with no recurring fees.
Per-Chapter Purchasers. Users who bought individual chapters while per-chapter pricing was offered keep permanent access to every chapter they purchased, with no recurring fees. This applies even though chapters are no longer sold individually. Use Restore Purchases in the app if a chapter does not appear on a new device.
Grandfathered Users. Users whose accounts were created before our subscription products were introduced, and who received complimentary access to legacy modules under our previous pricing model, retain that access permanently, with no recurring fees.
Legacy Subscribers. A small group of users started a Monthly Premium ($5.99 per month) or Yearly Premium ($59.99 per year) subscription before we retired those products in June 2026. Those subscriptions continue under their original terms, including auto-renewal, cancellation and refund policies as defined by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). You can manage or cancel them via Settings, your name, then Subscriptions on iOS, or the Subscriptions page in the Play Store on Android. New users cannot start a subscription, and we no longer sell subscription products.
None of the users described in this section are required to purchase Lifetime Access to maintain access at the level they originally had.
Refunds
One-Time Purchases. Refund requests for Lifetime Access, and for chapters bought under our previous per-chapter pricing, are handled by the store you purchased from. On iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or follow Apple's refund process from your Apple ID account. On Android, use the Google Play refund process. These are one-time purchases and are non-refundable outside the store's standard refund window, unless required by local consumer protection law. We can assist in some cases, contact support@keedastudios.com.
Legacy Subscriptions. Refund requests for the retired Monthly and Yearly Premium subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies.
Credits. In-app credits purchased separately are non-refundable as they are consumed by app features. Unused credits remain in your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with other users' use of the app
- Reverse engineer or copy the app
Intellectual Property
All original content in the app, including lessons, curriculum, and design, is owned by Keeda Studios and protected by copyright laws. Audio and speech analysis generated through third-party AI services is used under license.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Pronunciation feedback and speech analysis are generated by AI and may not always be accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keeda Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the app will immediately cease
- We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Keeda Studios and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in California.
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
You and Keeda Studios agree to resolve any disputes through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify.
- Arbitration Rules: Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules
- No Class Actions: You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration
- Costs: We will pay all AAA filing and arbitrator fees for claims under $10,000, unless the arbitrator determines your claim is frivolous
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to support@keedastudios.com within 30 days of first using the app
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keeda Studios regarding your use of the app and supersede any prior agreements.
